FISHING IN SICILY

In summer 2020 I did this reportage for We Animals Media in Sicily.

With the tecnical support of Sea Shepherd Italy I had chance to document how traditional fishing is affecting marine environment.

In all the Thyrrenian Sea, thousands of family owned fishing vessels are killing an incredible ammount of fish. Many of them uses illegal devices called FADs to attract some kind of fish in high waters and catch them with nets.
